Sm. Coicis Yi Yi Ren 8-25g Strengthens the Spleen, resolves Dampness, clears Heat, expels pus and clears Damp-Heat.
With Dong Gua Zi, for scanty urine and edema due Damp Obstruction.
With Dong Gua Zi and Tao Ren, for Lung abscess.
Sm. Benincasae Dong Gua Zi 5-15g Clears Heat, expels Phlegm, expels pus, moistens the Lungs and drains Dampness.
With Da Huang and Mu Dan Pi, for Intestinal abscess.
With Yi Yi Ren, for Lung or Large Intestinal abscess that has formed pus.
Natrii Sulfas Mang Xiao 5-15g Purges accumulations, guides out Stagnation, softens hardness, moistens Dryness, clears Heat, drains Fire and reduces swelling.
With Da Huang, for constipation due to Heat in the Stomach and Intestines.
With Da Huang and Gan Cao, for moderate constipation due to accumulation of Excess Heat.
Cx. Moutan Mu Dan Pi 4-12g Clears Heat, cools and harmonizes the Blood, invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, drains pus and reduces swelling.
With Da Huang, Dong Gua Zi and Tao Ren, for abdominal pain, constipation, and low grade fever associated with unsuppurated abdominal abscess.
Sm. Persicae Tao Ren 4-12g Breaks up Blood Stasis , invigorates Blood circulation, moistens the Intestines, unblocks the bowels and drains abscesses.
With Da Huang, for severe abdominal infection.
Rz. Atractylodis Cang Zhu 4-12g Strongly dries Dampness, tonifies the Spleen and clears Dampness from the Lower Jiao.
Rx. et Rz. Rhei Da Huang 1.5-5g Drains Heat, purges accumulations, drains Fire, transforms Dampness, promotes urination,invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and reduces Fire toxicity.
With Mu Dan Pi, Tao Ren and Mang Xiao, for Intestinal abscess.
With Mang Xiao, for abscess, swellings and toxic sores.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 1.5-3g Moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
  • Contraindicated during pregnancy.
